Hi, sorry if I'm out of topic but, could you
please point me to some information source about making cross
sections of 3d models ? I'm working with STL files, and I need yo
make cross sections from the models so any advice on existent
algorithms, methods, etc is what i need. |

the fastest way that I found was to make an
arb8 that cut out the part you didn't want. you could also use an
arb8 that would only include the area you wanted to keep.

but I have a 3d model made of triangle facets
so the idea is to construct a bitmap of the intersection of a plane
with the model |

Honestly not to be of any help, but I'm of no
help. I'm not too sure of how to go about that. May google search
prove fruitful |
