Hey! I've seen on this page: https://brlcad.org/wiki/Google_Code_In/Checklist that if we send an email to contest@brlcad.org, we could get a free t-shirt and stickers (btw it can interest other contestants :))but I've already sent two emails including one three weeks ago and I still didn't received any response. Is this mail still used?
Same
Even I sent an email in the starting of the contest
Who pays for the t-shirts? Google?

we pay for and send out sticker and (sometimes) t-shirts. we'll probably start with just stickers this time around, but TBD.
Google sends out their own t-shirt if you complete enough tasks
Great! Thanks a lot! Be sure not to send me twice since I've sent two mails :)
hah
if folks keep contributing to the project, they get opportunities for more and more stuff
some students turn into mentors for other students, and they can get pretty supplies related to their work (e.g., books, hardware) or sometimes even trips to California when mentors get together
I guess, BRl-CAD uses some kind of donation
Does BRL-CAD receive any kind of donations from organizations which use BRL-CAD?
sometimes
Google is very generous to and supportive of BRL-CAD
Do you think Google uses BRL-CAD?
not likely, why would they need to?
they recognize the importance of CAD industry ... understand just how big that industry is
there is a CAD model somewhere for nearly every single item in your home
it's not something people at home see a lot, but businesses work with CAD a LOT .. every car, bike, plane, motorcycle, part, piece of equipment, lawn mover, rice cooker, blender, toaster, ... CAD files
by at least one measure, it's bigger than the gaming industry
