If BRL-CAD applies this year for GSoC/GSoD, I would be willing to be one of the mentors. Unless I am involved myself in one of these programs, in which case I am not sure if it is allowed.

I cannot help with the details of BRL-CAD, but I can help with the details of the documentation system (using AsciiDoc properly, using Antora, etc.).
