Anyone have any reactions to share about this characterization matrix? I'm looking to come up with iconography that conveys size and complexity of a model at a glance based on human-scale orders of magnitude.
Note the icons are just notional to get an idea what is meant for that cell, not the actual iconography. Actual iconograpy for a given model might look something like:
and in that case, might indicate there's something simple and big, a very detailed human-sized something, and something else small but non-trivial.
colors are currently meaningless, but could be some other dimension of information or just to help differentiate the rows or columns
Could also include counts and labels. Idea being to keep it simple but provide just enough useful info.
Probably call it an "Assembly characterization matrix" or similar.
Not sure how I feel about combining them, but more standalone:
