when trying to set A ,B , C & D on trc primtive, it turns to a regular cylinder , as CD and AB becomes equal , has anybody else noticed this ?

what are you expecting to happen when you set ABCD to a value?

view this post on Zulip Rahil Malik (Jan 13 2018 at 05:18):

i expect that AB in its own size and CD in its own size reduces

but i get it now , that its intentionally kept in the system, now this cannot be counted as a bug and this something which simply i had trouble handdling

view this post on Zulip Sean (Jan 13 2018 at 05:28):

ah, so you expect it to be modified by some factor

view this post on Zulip Sean (Jan 13 2018 at 05:29):

as it is, it's SET to a value, not scaled

view this post on Zulip Sean (Jan 13 2018 at 05:29):

what's probably misleading is that you click with your mouse and it seemingly adjusts like a factor, but it's actually just a value that gets set

also if i expect that to happen what about the line joining both circles , they will also change which we do do not want

but i have now reported the crash i used to get during the making of sand grains

I get what you mean .. it's in the definition/expectation of "set" vs something else like "adjust" or "shift" or "scale" ... kind of similar to the various "Set H" edit options that you'd have on set A,B and C,D, and A,B,C,D ... something like "Set A,B (scale A,B)"

ok, got it . if i set value , they become same as i give them a value to set to
