@Lucas Prieels the issue is Mac specific, we have several tasks which successfully build on Linux and I work on Linux too. So if you want to do this for your experience it's OK, but you can't reclaim this task as it is already approved for you.
Iirc the last Mac developer used clang tool chain, thus I'm not sure yet if you found an issue with wrong instructions or gcc on Mac.
